Dr. Young has been my treating headache neurologist since 2005. Suffering from Chronic Migraines since 2005 I can personally vouch of how stigmatizing having this condition is for me and other people who I know. I like many people often feel that our condition is not well understood, that we do not get the needed treatments that are available, Also we are treated very diffenetly from others with a lack of understanding the horrific pain and disabling events that Migraines can have. Many of us are thrown into the Pysch bin.
Dr Young and Miles for Migraine is one of many groups that exists as a advocacy group to give people with Migraines the skills and advocacy tools to try to better manage their medical conditions.
